Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children

Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children!!! Freaking great show! Just finished the movie... and I think I'm going to watch it again tomorrow!!!!!! The Animated CG is so damn life like! But the down side is that it's purely in Japanese, the English Subs or Dubbed will only be out later this year. I can only make out some of the stuff that they are saying in the movie. For those who didn't even played Final Fantasy VII on Playstation 1, I think they might not even make head or tail of this fantastic movie!

Here's a pic of the DVD I bought.
It's the First Pressing Regular version.

Here are some of the other versions:

I actually wanted to pre-order in the Limited Edition that carries alot of stuff... But after careful considerations, I decided not to spend $500 on the LE and just get the First Press Regular Version DVD.

Here's what the Limited Edition carries (*don't drool over your keyboard):

Can't wait for the English version to be out, I'll definitely buy it (so that I can understand more of the movie, LOL)..... As for those people who are not Fans of Final Fantasy, just catch the movie for the Great CG and action!

de05 IdN DesignEdge Conference & Expo 2005

IdN, a fantastic mag that I've always been following... Been to a several Fresh Conferences held on our Island already. Now there's the de05!!! Must make myself available to attend it. Anyone free to go with me? You ppl know how to reach me ya? Heh....

Foreword:
designEDGE Conference and Expo, presented by the DesignSingapore Council and produced by IdN, will be one of the undoubted highlights of 2005.
Essentially a creative conference and exhibition; both tracks will merge and combine into a fusion of programmes and performances, featuring some of the world’s most influential yet mild-mannered revolutionaries. It will be the perfect antidote to the commercial straitjacket into which many talented designers feel they have been forced these days — an opportunity to give full vent to their unfettered creativity.
designEDGE will reveal how this revolution came about: our presenters will demonstrate precisely what it was that drove them to overturn the prevailing “rules of the game”. And how they arrived at the inspiration to see things from a whole new perspective.
Above all, IdN’s designEDGE Conference and Expo is an expression of the creative spirit of our times. It is unlikely that there will ever again be gathered together in one place such a stellar collection of creative iconoclasts!

About the Conference:
The conference track consists of six presentation sessions in total; each guarantees to unveil what you always wanted to know most about those taking part. Each 45-minute session is made up of a medley of presenters, to accentuate the collaborative theme.
Be inspired by Hardy on how the Maharishi brand has established itself as one of the most prolific mastermind on the creative scene. Find out from Rostarr and Delta how their persistently distinctive styles are attracting clients of all sorts. Discover from DFuse and UVA what it is like to have creative control over bands such as Massive Attack, U2 and Beck. Be motivated to revive your own designs from “The World’s Most Copied Design Company”, The Designers Republic. Find out how cross-disciplinary collaborations are making so much noise and hype in the Surrender, UNKLE and Mo’Wax circle.

About Expo:
An unprecedented decision to divide the expo up into a series of specialist pavilions makes for easy viewing, with the expertise on display clearly labelled: Urban, Print, Art, Interactive, Music, Animations and Fashion. But the point of having them all gathered together under one inclusive roof is to show how complementary they are one to the other, and how misleading labels can be in this New Age of accommodation and cooperation.
Each pavilion, with its distinctive characteristics, will be packed with programs and interactive installations, performances and screenings, shops and exhibits.
For only S$35/US$20 a day (free to all full conference ticket-holders), each pavilion will guarantee to satisfy visitors with its innovations, rare finds and hands-on experience.

Date: November 10-12 (Thu, Fri & Sat)
Venue Singapore, Suntec, Halls 401-402

People with the Ipod Shuffle 512MB $178 & 1GB $238 can chuck their Shuffles away!!! Totally wasted their money on a useless piece of junk. Maybe can use it as a thumbdrive.... wahahahahaa!!!
