Kenko Fish Spa

Hungry little buggers! They were all over my feet! I can only say it was a terribly ticklish experince... Was trying to contain my laughter most of the time. I'm terribly screamish when tickled at my feet. So these fishes were really giving me a ticklish time.
Pardon my 2 mega pix phone.

Exercise Trial Run 1.1

Haven't ran in 3 yrs. Today was my first run after so many months, because I had a very bad knee problem after all my road relays and marathons from Army days. Wanted to run till I was tired. But I ended up stopping at 5km, because I was worried about my bad right knee. I thought it was more then enough for my first run in so many months. So here's the results...

Trial Run 1.1
2.4km => 13:17mins
5.0km => 28:17mins

I guess it was not bad for a first run in such a long time. Although I think I would have failed my 2.4km IPPT timing, if I have to go take the test.

Fri's Dinner @ Kha, Hort Park

Took this image with my 2megapixel phone while I was at HortPark, outside Kha waiting to get in. This was my second time there. Last week was with one person. This time was a dept dinner organised by me. Nice place. But food's not that fantastic. Presentation's great though.

Jamiyah Children's Home Volunteer Paintwork 30May2008

Friday was a fulfilling day... I was at the Jamiyah Children's Home doing some volunteer work. It was organised by NUS students and I was there to help paint the place. But when I arrived there all ready to get dirty. They showed me a picture that they came up with and ask me if I could do up a simple cartoon mural and get everyone to paint it. With some help from another 2 artistic volunteers, we did up the cartoon drawing within 15mins or so. Everyone helped chip in to paint the cartoon mural. Hope the kids love it! The NUS students invited me to join them again to paint next weekend again. Coz I can help them draw... heh...
